About the P.A.C.E. team
During the Covid-19 pandemic, many concerning issues in the public school systems were unveiled. Parents, teachers, politicians, and community members have banned together to find a solution that will allow South Carolina equal opportunity in K-12 Education.
P.A.C.E. Scholarship bill is currently in South Carolina state Senate S285 and also in the state House of Representatives H3422 subcommittees awaiting vote.
P.A.C.E. Goals:
-Ensure ALL South Carolina K-12 children have school choice
-Lower public school teacher-to-child ratio WITHOUT taking away public school funding
-Make sure Private Schools, Faith-Based Schools, and homeschools are part of families schooling choices
-Funding through private donations, NOT direct government funding, so there will be no direct government control.
-Simple application and payment process for Scholarships
-Have enough funds to grant scholarships to all that apply. PACE will start with $100million and can increase that amount if there are enough requests for scholarships.
-Cover 100% of Tuition and Curriculum (Private schools scholarships for special needs and lower income will be issued for up to $11,000, Private School for all other kids for up to $6,500 and homeschool scholarships will be up to $1,000. All these figures are per kid, per year)
P.A.C.E. Scholarship bill was created by South Carolina families for South Carolina families. It is the true school choice. We need your voice in your community and to your representatives to make P.A.C.E. Scholarships a reality!
